# Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how you may use OptiTech. It applies to everyone who accesses the platform, and it forms part of your OptiTech Terms of Use.

When you use OptiTech, you agree to:

- Use the platform lawfully, and only for its intended purpose of managing your compliance program.
- Respect OptiTech's security controls, and never attempt to bypass, disable, or probe them without written authorization.
- Avoid resource abuse, such as activity designed to degrade the service for other customers.
- Never attempt to access, alter, or delete data you are not authorized to access.
- Not use OptiTech to store or process unlawful content, or to infringe the rights of others.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, do not exploit it. Report it through [Security reporting](https://neon.com/docs/security/security-reporting).
