Sprinto is a common first compliance platform: quick onboarding, reasonable price, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 covered. Teams outgrow it into OptiTech when European regulation lands in their contracts: NIS2 scoped from Swedish law, DORA demands from financial customers, authority incident reporting, and buyers asking where compliance data lives (Sweden/EU, EU-owned is the answer that ends that conversation).
Before you start
- Complete any in-flight audit first.
- Keep Sprinto active for a parallel period.
- General principles: switching platforms without losing audit history.
Step 1: Export from Sprinto
- Policies with their approval records.
- Evidence: control evidence and uploaded documents.
- People: training and acceptance status.
- Vendors: the vendor list with review status.
- Audit reports and their evidence packages.
Step 2: Rebuild in OptiTech
- Create the workspace and run the scoping wizard. Expect the scope to widen: the wizard models NIS2 and supply-chain obligations that Sprinto setups typically didn't.
- Activate frameworks on the cross-mapped control set; your ISO 27001 work carries into NIS2 coverage immediately.
- Import vendors and people from CSV, upload policies, and start fresh acknowledgment rounds.
Step 3: Reconnect integrations
The usual stack reconnects in an afternoon: identity, cloud, code, tickets, chat, devices, and endpoint protection. Add Fortnox or Visma so offboarding checks run against the payroll truth, and BankID for signing where it matters.
Run two to four weeks in parallel, compare results, and tune routing.
Step 4: Cut over and archive
- Move daily work to OptiTech and rebuild your public page on the Trust Center.
- Take a final Sprinto export into your document archive.
- Cancel Sprinto after your first clean monitoring cycle.
After cutover
Rehearse the MSB incident flow once, and check your plan sizing: teams arriving from Sprinto usually land on Professional, with Enterprise when DORA's package or the auditor portal becomes relevant.
