Migrate from consultant deliverables

Turn static consultant reports into a living compliance program

Consultant engagements produce good material: a gap analysis, a policy package, a risk assessment. The problem is what happens next. The documents are accurate on delivery day and drift from reality every day after. This guide turns those deliverables into a program that maintains itself.

What you can import

  • Gap analyses: findings become tasks with owners and priorities
  • Policy packages: delivered policies are imported with content intact, then put on review cycles with e-signing
  • Risk assessments: risks and treatment plans into the risk register, linked to controls
  • Control descriptions: mapped against OptiTech's framework requirements
  1. Gather the deliverables

Collect the final versions of what your consultants delivered. If the engagement produced a control matrix or statement of applicability, include it; it makes the mapping step faster.

  2. Upload and map

Upload the documents through Settings, then Import. The assistant extracts findings, controls, and risks, and proposes how they map to your active frameworks. You confirm before anything goes live.

  3. Assign owners

Consultant reports name functions; a running program needs people. Assign an owner to each imported control and task, so drift alerts reach someone who can act.

  4. Replace the annual review with continuous checks

Connect your integrations. What the consultant verified once, OptiTech now verifies continuously, and your documentation updates when regulations change instead of waiting for the next engagement.

Keep your consultant in the loop

Many advisors work in OptiTech with their clients through the Partner plan. If your consultant manages several clients, partner pricing gives them a multi-tenant console.
