Migrate from Swedish GDPR tools

Move from Draftit, GDPR Hero, and similar DPO tools to OptiTech

Swedish GDPR tools like Draftit and GDPR Hero proved that Swedish companies pay for Swedish-language compliance tooling. But they're built as document archives and legal encyclopedias: strong on templates, weak on verification. Teams move to OptiTech when NIS2 arrives and documentation alone stops being enough.

What you can import

  • Records of processing: your Article 30 register with processing activities, legal bases, and retention
  • Policies and notices: privacy policies, information texts, and internal guidelines with content intact
  • Data processor lists: processors and subprocessors into the vendor register, with agreements tracked
  • Incident logs: historical personal data incidents as records
  1. Export from your GDPR tool

Export your register of processing activities, documents, and processor list. Most tools export to Excel, Word, or PDF; the import assistant handles all three.

  2. Upload and map

In the Console, open Settings, then Import, and upload the export. Processing activities map to GDPR requirements, and documents are classified and put on review cycles.

  3. Connect your systems

This is what your old tool couldn't do: connect Microsoft 365, your cloud, and your HR system, and data protection controls (access, encryption, offboarding, retention) switch from claimed to verified.

  4. Extend beyond GDPR

Activate NIS2 or ISO 27001 and let cross-mapping reuse your GDPR work. Your register of processing and access controls already satisfy requirements in both.

What you gain

  • Continuous verification of data protection controls instead of a static register
  • The 72-hour IMY breach flow with pre-filled forms and deadline countdowns
  • A path from GDPR documentation to a full compliance program under one roof
